(4) The
collection
management
tasking
and
reporting net (FM voice) is the primary net the division uses for
passing mission taskings to the MI battalion.
(5) The corps SIGINT/EW net (RATT) is used to request
assistance
from
corps
for
requirements
that
exceed
division
capabilities and to receive intelligence summaries and other reports
from corps.
(6) The corps weather net (RATT) is used to receive weather
information from the corps staff weather officer.
(7) The corps special security officer (SSO) net (RATT) is used
to provide an interface with the corps SSO to receive special
compartmented intelligence (SCI).
b. Multichannel radio network (ATACS).
The MI battalion
headquarters has access to the division communications system through
a multichannel terminal team provided by the division signal
battalion.
The terminal team sets up near the battalion CP and
installs a multichannel system.
This system provides the battalion
switchboard access into the division area common user system (ACUS).
Cable furnished by the division signal battalion is installed by the
terminal team and battalion communications section personnel.
