b. Possible bad equipment. The items of equipment that may cause the
symptom in EPC step 2a are: commander's C-2298, CX-4723 (between J801 on the
C-2298 and J504 on the AM-1780), and AM-1780 (Figure 38).
The defective
item can be found by individually disconnecting items of equipment from the
circuit.

c. Test procedure 16.
Disconnect the CX-4723 from J801 on the commander's C-2298.
If the relays in the AM-1780 click, the
commander's
C-2298
contains a short. Send to IDS for repair.
If the AM-1780 relays do not click the C-2298 is not bad.
Disconnect the CX-4723 from J504 on the AM-1780.
