22. RT KEYING.
a. Situation 11. When checking EPC step 5b, normal indications occur,
but the RT blower motor comes on. This indicates continuous keying (Figure
76. Issued as adjunctive material.).
If this happens, disconnect the
handset from the system. If the RT blower goes off, the handset is bad. If
the RT blower motor still runs, the system keying circuit has a short. Turn
the A-RT and AM-1780 MAIN PWR switches to OFF and identify the possible bad
items of equipment.
