Set up a multimeter to measure continuity.
Disconnect the CX-4723 from J501 on the AM-1780.
Measure continuity between pins S and A on the AM-1780 J501 (TP1
of Figure 77. Issued as adjunctive material.).
If the meter indicates zero ohms, the AM-1780 is bad.
If the meter indicates infinite ohms, the AM-1780 is not bad.
