(3) To prevent the lightweight paper from wrapping around the
rollers
when processing the lightweight or thinner photomechanical paper,
stiffen
the leading edge of the paper by folding a 2-inch tab, emulsion
side to
emulsion, straight across the lead edge. Grab the leading edge as
soon as
it emerges and apply slight tension until the paper is free
of the
processor.
c. Once the paper is removed from the processor, let it dry for a few
minutes. It is ready to go if it is needed for immediate press releases.
If you are using the processor for mass production, then fix, wash, and dry
the prints.
d. The Army has mass production requirements for accidents, reports,
etc. and the Ektamatic processor can save time and provide consistency in
the quality of your prints.
