(4) Slide the print stripper cloth (21) from the print stripper rod (20).
b. Replacement.
(1) Slide the print stripper cloth (21) on the print stripper rod (20).
(2) Fasten the print stripper rod (20) to the print tray (16) with the guide screws (17), the
lockwashers (18), and the nuts (19).
(3) Reinstall the print tray (16) and secure with the two pivot screws (15).

Replacing the print stripper on the EL-5(2) through EL-5(5) (fig. 3-15).
a. Removal.
(1) Lower the feed table assembly (16) and the print tray (21).
(2) Carefully remove the screws (19) and the print stripper (20).
CAUTION: When removing and replacing the screws (19) and the print
stripper (20), be extremely careful not to scratch or dent the drum (15).
b. Replacement. Seat the print stripper (20) on the print tray (21) and secure it with the screws (19).

Replacing the power cable on the EL-5(1) (fig. 3-19).
a. Removal.
(1) Disconnect the connector plug (4) form the power source.
(2) Remove the connector plug from the power cable (6).
(3) Remove the power tag (5) form the power cable.
(4) Remove the screws (1) and the lockwashers (2), and pull off the control box cover (3).
(5) Disconnect the terminals (7) from the circuit breaker (9).
(6) Loosen the screws of the cable clamp (8) and pull the power cable (6) through the drier
frame.
(7) Unsolder and remove the terminals (7) from the power cable (6).
