(2) Place the latched receiver-exciter (E) and the amplifier-coupler
(B) on the top of the amplifier-power supply (J).
(3) Slide the latched units toward the rear of the amplifier-power
supply (J) until the receiver-exciter (E) and amplifier-coupler (B) fully
engage the retaining cleats on the amplifier-power supply.
(4) Tighten the fasteners (I) over the hooks located on the front of
the receiver-exciter (E) and the amplifier-coupler (B) until both units are
securely attached to the top of the amplifier-power supply (J).
(5) Connect the audio cable to the lower AUDIO connector (F) on the
receiver-exciter (E).
(6) Connect the handset or telegraph key to the upper audio connector

c. Amplifier-coupler removal instructions.
To remove the amplifier-
coupler from the AN/GRC-213, proceed as follows (see Figure 33):
(1) Verify that the POWER ON/OFF switch on the amplifier-power supply
is set to OFF. If necessary, set the switch to OFF.
(2) Disconnect the AN/PRC-104(A) power cable from the AN/PRC-104(A)
power input connector (A) on the rear of the amplifier-coupler .
(3) Disconnect the quick-release ground connector (C) between the
(4) Disconnect the audio cable from the lower AUDIO connector (F) on
the front of the receiver-exciter (E).
(5) Disconnect the RF cable from the BNC connector (G) on the front
of the amplifier-coupler (B).
(6) Disconnect the handset or telegraph key from the upper AUDIO
connector (H) on the receiver-exciter (E).
(7) Loosen the fasteners (I) from the hooks located on the front of
the receiver-exciter (E) and the amplifier-coupler (B) until the fasteners
