(4) Multiplexer set TD-202/U.
The TD-202 is a 12/24-channel
TDM-PCM radio transmission interface unit used in medium capacity
systems. The transmit section of the TD-202 accepts TDM-PCM outputs
from one or two TD-352s, a TD-204, or another TD-202 and processes
the outputs for radio transmission.
The receive section accepts a
PCM signal from a radio receiver, processes and retimes it, and
extracts the order wire signal.
Radio terminal stations, radio relay stations, drop and insert
stations, and radio-to-cable conversion stations use the TD-202. It
measures 8.5" X 17" X 20" and weighs 50 pounds.
