STEP 1.

Using the lower tray (A) of the mounting base (part of the

electrical equipment mount) as a template, mark five

positions for holes on the vehicle floor.

STEP 2.

Drill the five 11/32-inch-diameter holes marked in step 1.

Remove all the burrs and sharp edges from the holes.

STEP 3.

Install the electrical equipment mount, consisting of the

mounting base (B) and switching unit (C), on the vehicle

floor with five 5/16-inch x 1 1/8-inch or 5/16-inch x 3/4-

inch bolts (D). (Two bolt lengths are provided from which

to choose) ten 5/16-inch lock washers, five 5/16-inch nuts.

c. Perform steps 1 through 4 for antenna installation on the vehicle

side (see Figure 4).

STEP 1.

For antenna installation on the vehicle side, hold the

antenna support (A) in position on the outer vehicle

vertical wall and mark six positions for holes using the

antenna support as a template.

STEP 2.

Drill the six 9/32-inch-diameter holes marked in step 1.

Remove all the burrs and sharp edges from the holes.

STEP 3.

Apply sealant to the screw heads, threads, washers, and

nuts to maintain watertightness as required.
